Once in awhile there comes a time in life when you’re in desperate need for enlightenment, a sense of oneness, inner peace and spirituality. At least that’s the stage I’m in right now, all questions deserve answers. Searching for that ideal state of being, might become a quite unexpected bumpy road the where-and-how-abouts for this voyage haven’t been given to me, but I’m receptive and my eyes are wide open. In all truthfulness, anything that evokes chills validates and confirms a sense of spirituality for me – with the right recipe, touch, sentiment, and packaging that can be done in a heartbeat. To illustrate this, I’ll need to hijack your sceptical eyes for a brief moment and you’ll get it.

‘EZEKIEL’ directed by the talented London-based filmmaker Luke Monaghan is a short which encapsulates my point, surpassing my judgment on mini-preachers, full of emotion and captures that divine atmosphere. At the age of seven, Ezekiel Stoddard said he had a ‘calling from God that led him to the pulpit’, Luke Monaghan took to his camera and takes a look at his life in this captivating portrait of a 12-Year-Old ordained Minister from Temple Hills Maryland, USA. All-in-all it’s a beautiful piece exhibiting Monaghan’s artistry and terrific eye, and how bout it? Did your senses by any chance descend into pure bliss? Can I get an Amen?
