Moko’s debut EP is out now, and we can already rest assured that this power ballad diva has her vocal chords set on producing the best chills and thrills a listening experience can provide. Moko is a 22 years old singer-song writer from London, who describes her genre as alternative electronic soul. A little known fact is that she claims to “associate certain colors with sounds”, a phenomena called chromesthesia.
The song Freeze has that chiseled-to-perfection and diamond-shine feel, ornamented with a Massive Attack-meets-contemporary-soul production. There’s no doubt Moko’s music will shape the sounds of 2014.
