‘Finding Yourself’ is an awesome short which leaves us spellbound and follows three legendary dancers – Damon Frost, Daniel E “Future” Kelley and Chris “Shake” Mathis as they share their mutual passion for dance. All shot on a sunny day in the very heart of NYC last year straight from Central Park by Sthlm-based Maceo Frost – this piece combines all the elements composing a cinematic language to create a universal portrait of street dance.
Maceo has weaved together intimate personal stories and the result is a powerful account of their common love for dance which serves as a map to finding yourself. Our favourite part is no doubt the smiles on their faces. We salute you Maceo Frost, you’re under our radar and by far a talent worth keeping an eye on.
