King of Krump

KNUCKLEHEAD‘ is a short documentary-style film, beautifully directed by Greg Brunkalla and produced for Coca-Cola Zero’sMake It Possible project. We get introduced to the magical world of krumping and follow the krumping king himself Joey Turman (aka “Knucklehead”), a LA-based street dancer and crew member of America’s Best Dance Crew (Season 6) Street Kingdom. The film follows his story and provides a glimpse into the dancer’s journey from starting off as a homeless kid with a troubled background, to finally becoming a member of the dance crew Street Kingdom and creator of the side-to-side toe-tapping dance called Toe Tappy.
