Part of what I like about Stocktown is that it feeds my need for exoticism. I didn’t really think that this video would do it for me but for some reason it does.
This is a video of a guy riding his bike in the bike lanes of New York City in order to prove a point about them. So a simple premise that’s kind of bike nerdy, and for reasons I can’t explain it still sooths my hunger for exoticism. I like that. I could care less about bike lanes (seeing as I’m lazy and like public transport) but I love the fact that someone else in some other city is really passionate about them.
It’s also a great example of how the way we communicate our grievances with the rest of the world has changed since we got ahold of all of those pesky video cameras.
