Film student Claudio Britos has picked his favourite video that resonates with the experience of generations of immigrants in Sweden. The video for Mitt Land (My Country) is a tour of Sweden for the less experienced travellers; actually they could use the video as an introductory in Swedish classes. The song in itself is a prime example of music being traded for generations, based on a sample of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings soulful rendition of Woodie Guthries American folk anthem “This Land Is Your Land“.
