Nigerian born, London based artist Afrikan Boy‘s latest single offers a cultural fusion of Western and African culture. Paying homage to the father of Afrobeat, Fela Kuti, the drive of the single and video offers a taste of the past and present of Nigerian culture.
The creative editing and producing allows listeners and viewers to see the heavy influence Kuti left for many generations to pull from. This was a great tribute video and track to Fela. It reassures Africans of this generation that his legacy is still alive and will continue to live on.
It’s also not a surprise that Afrikan Boy nailed it!
